Jolene Anderson is co-founder of the VectorPoint’s Impact Partners fund where she extends her extensive experience in advising, mentoring and connecting early stage and growth stage companies with the strategic advice and resources required to scale their product or service. She has provided investor and media relations, executive coaching and has significant experience in providing advice for alternative financing, exit strategy and access to grant funding. Ms. Anderson has over 30 years’ experience in advising companies, in the Pacific Rim and North America. Her career experience includes senior development strategist for various private companies and investor relations for a public company, focused on STEM education. A current member of E8 and the CleanTech Alliance, she is a previous member of the Mayor’s Green Task Force for the City of Seattle and member of Built Green, as well as past Board Member for the Building Industry Association of WA, where she has been working in the field of sustainability for over two decades. A previous advisor for Kineta Bio, a life science company based in Seattle, WA, she is currently advising biomedical, medical device, material science and clean tech companies in the greater Pacific Northwest and Mountain States. Ms. Anderson has served on the Life Science Deal Screening Committee for Keiretsu Forum NW for the past 7 years, and currently serves on the Board of the Evergreen Bioscience Innovation Cluster and the Idaho Biomedical Association as well as participating on the Angel Capital Association Life Science and Impact Syndication Committees. She was a Board member for the St. Alphonsus Hospital Foundation until relocating to Puget Sound in May 2021. A former member of the Idaho Technology Council, Ms. Anderson was given the Excellence in Finance Award by the Idaho Business Review and was recently named one of the top 25 startup experts by the Idaho Business Review.
In her role as Advisor, Ms. Anderson has worked with consumer wellness, nutraceutical and digital health companies in addition to founding a corporate wellness education company, where she was a speaker and exhibitor at health and wellness expos in Canada and the US. In her role as Founder/President/CEO, Ms. Anderson, produced media on healthy aging and was a guest editor for industry trade journals on the subject of East meets West medicine, corporate wellness and healthy aging.
Ms. Anderson has extensive media experience and was a featured guest editor for U.S. News and World Report on STEM education, guest editor for The Puget Sound Business Journal, and other trade journals. An active mentor and advisor for women owned companies, seed and early growth stage companies based in the Northwest and Canada, she is an advocate for advancing research into brain science, life science, clean energy, impact investing, STEM education and promoting student entrepreneurship. She has been active board member for the Magnolia Rotary Club in Seattle, the Seattle Kiwanis Memorial Foundation, Soroptimist International Rocky Mountain Region and continues to support the Chris Elliott Fund for Brain Cancer Research, www.endbraincancer.org and other worthy organizations whose goals are to promote education and create healthy communities.
